Community events ranging from the fabulous and frantic to the gritty and gruesome are organised throughout the community in support of our cancer patients. These occasions make all the difference to our patients with cancer who reap the real benefit of local community generosity.
Cookridge Gala Day
Our annual outdoor fundraising community event attracts supporters from all over Yorkshire. This special family fun day, held in the grounds of Cookridge Hospital offers a great day's entertainment for all age groups. Each year, our patients, staff and visitors revel in the various activities on offer - from jousting, bungee run, archery, gymnastic and archery displays, to our more sedate but legendary Bar-B-Q and cream teas, brass band and afternoon concert.
